Ever since his childhood, the artist was fascinated with Jackfruit trees and the red patches on their trunks. Jackfruits cling onto the tree like babies to their mother. He found this hollow trunk of a dead Jackfruit tree lying on the road-side. He cleaned it up from inside and attached thorns of Trifala tree all over. The genetic information that the fruit will have thorns is already embedded in the trunk of the tree.
