The coconut tree is called the ‘Kalpavriksha’ on earth. Kalpavriksha is an imaginary tree in the heaven which is supposed to grant all your wishes and a coconut tree almost does that on earth. The artist have worked with palm leaves and coconuts and this is an installation which is with stalks of the palm leaves. The stalk of the palm leave is called ‘Piddem’ or ‘Piddo’. So the artist have created a circle using the stalks of the palm leaves celebrating the tree which is so useful to everybody.
