This installation was commissioned by Bangalore International Airport Ltd. (BIAL), for their Arrival Level 1 – Terminal 2 Phase 1. The theme requested was Navrasas, the nine expressions described in Bharat Muni’s Natyashastras. The artist has created the performance installation working with Bharatnatyam dancers, women in sarees and the Halakki tribal women from Ankola area of Karnataka.
The artist created a Performance Installation working with 60 enthusiastic women at Morjim beach. This work is a celebration of Women and of the most iconic Indian costume, SAREE.
