Borders and Nations

The human race has existed on earth for 2.5 million years. The modern human beings, homo-sapiens, are 3 lakh years old. The idea of a nation is just a few centuries old. The artist believes in one world and the unity of the human race. The idea of a nation reminds him of barbed-wire borders. He has placed a mirror behind the barbed wires to highlight the meaninglessness of the borders. The viewer can see themselves on the other side of the border.
