Mira was the first Hindu girl in Mandrem, Goa to marry a Catholic boy. Domnic was a poor fisherman and his brother was a priest in Saligao Seminary. He was totally against the marriage and so were Mira's parents. The two decided to go ahead and soon the family accepted the alliance. Within two years Domnic saved enough money to buy his own fishing boat. They decided to call it KRISH. Krish is both - Krishna and Christ!
